Berghaus Explorer Light Men's Walking BootsThe best thing about Berghaus Explorer Light Men’s Walking Boots are that they are made with the specific needs of a mobile person—whether a walker, climber, or trekker—in mind.

People who live an active lifestyle nowadays will always be looking for footwear that stands the test of these three: time, weather, and comfort.

It must be designed with the right expertise and made with the only right stuff. The standards for an all-terrain pair of hiking shoes cannot be anything less.

A Berghaus Explorer Light walking boots always are put together using Asylum, a very tough, light, and high-grade rubber material. It doesn’t easily give in to wear-and-tear, even after many years of use. Industry-standard material, on the other hand, often lasts for two or three years only, which is not enough value for money.

Gore Tex lining surrounds its upper, giving the feet utmost protection from rainwater and mud along the way. They are layered with suede to provide the best comfort possible for the busy walker.

The Positive Comments

Because of its breathability and longevity, Berghaus hiking boots enjoy a loyal following among its buyers. Those who think that this footwear is a five-star are already using their boots for more than six years.

Many are glad to stick with Berghaus for their second, third, and even fourth pairs, and have gone to the extent of recommending the brand to their friends and colleagues. It is said that extra comfort is achieved when worn with specially-designed socks meant for endurance trekking.

Some Disappointments

There are a few who have found that the upper of Berghaus Explorer Light walking boots are too roomy for their feet. Consequently, they have to wear thick socks all the time that often encourages moisture. Even if the hiking boots are built to control moisture, this feature is likely to be offset with thick socks.

There are two possible explanations for this though; either the wrong size is purchased, or, they are one of the rare few with small-built feet. In such cases, customers attempt to return or have the boots replaced, and they have been properly accommodated.

Overall, Most Customers were Happy about their Purchase

Berghaus Explorer Light Walking Boot have been reviewed by more than twenty Amazon buyers. Most, if not all, are exceptionally satisfied with their experience of the hiking boots. From its soles, to welts, and finally to the upper, Berghaus is a brand to rely on when it comes to intense walking.

I have had a pair of these for 18 months. 3-4 months ago the waterproof suede started to split on the left boot where the foot flexes. Shortly afterwards the stitching of the waterproof suede on the right foot started to become unstitched.

Initially the boot remained waterproof but just the other day that failed.

I walk everday on country tracks, often rocky and uneven and through pastures. I probably cover 1200 miles per annum.

Up to the point of the failure in construction of the boot I was happy.
